“The recent success of Agnico Eagle’s Holt and Holloway Mine, 5 km east of the Ghost Mountain property, requires a closer look at Ghost Mountain. The Dronemag survey was the first step in generating exploration targets. Received a final report from Abitibi Geophysics. After that, we will send field crew members to the ground truth anomaly to predict the target ground for gold mineralization, “commented Saf Dhillon, president and CEO of iMetal.

Ghost Mountain has a long history of sporadic exploration dating back to the 1950s. Initially, asbestos was explored and excavated on the ground around Ghost Mountain, completing a hole in the current claim block. The hole is excavated perpendicular to the stratum and appears to intersect the peridotite to a depth of 695 feet (211.8 m) from the bedrock. The next excavation took place in 1974, with one hole excavated in the claim block. Intermediate volcanic rocks, rhyolites, graphitic tuffs, andesites were of interest, with some areas of quartz veins and sulfides being noted. In 1983, an additional drill hole was completed, in the opposite direction of the hole in 1974, where the local areas of quartz veins and sulfides intersected with metadeposits and andesite. A hole was drilled south of the claim block in 1991, the last 75 meters below the current claim block, intersecting the mafic and ultramafic volcanic rocks. Ultramafic rocks carried ankerite, sericite, and fuxite with crushing to fill pyrite. The final historic excavation was completed in 1993 and there is one hole on the current site. This hole is an extension of the previous hole, intersecting mafic to ultramafic volcanic rocks, strong to permeable sericite and localized sericite and fukusite. No assay was submitted in any of the drill logs.

Magnetic surveys of the drone were conducted to highlight geophysical anomalies that may be associated with structural zones or corridors that may have acted as conduits and / or hosts for precious metal mineralization. Analysis results from historic drilling are not available, but areas of severe alteration, quartz veins, and sulfides are recorded in the drill log, confirming the potential characteristics of Ghost Mountain.
