Everyone knows how smart devices and various other gadgets, especially smartphones, have changed our lives. In today’s world, living without a smartphone has become nearly impossible and perhaps unimaginable. The reliance on these devices is so obvious that more and more governments are using new apps, cravings for sudden news, and established networks to provide the information they need.
As smartphones gradually open and literally force their place into our lives, we are now witnessing continuous and similar trends in smartwatches and fitness trackers / bands. Many people write articles or post videos online about the pros and cons of owning a smartwatch or fitness tracker. I would like to go one step further and ask, do I need to change my smartwatch or fitness tracker from time to time?
Nowadays, more and more people think that knowledge about their body is important, such as heart rate, calories burned today, how to sleep last night, and steps. Smartwatches also reduce the need to constantly reach for your smartphone, provide notifications, and even make calls and even listen to music stored on your smartphone.
While I was fortunate to own three smartwatches / fitness trackers in the last four years, this trip was very interesting and I learned a lot of lessons not only about smart devices but also about myself. I also claim that I have two friends and have had an Apple device for years, one still having an Apple Watch 3.
And don’t misunderstand me. I’m not one of the rich people spending money. I was fortunate to have a very kind friend who knew my love for watches in general and gave me two of the three devices I had to date.
So I lead to the first question: is buying a smartwatch or fitness brand really worth it? absolutely! Nowadays, many of us work behind computers and through evolution our bodies do not have the designed regular movements. This caused many arthritic problems in the neck, shoulders, elbows, back and even knees. From taking short walks on a regular basis to sleeping better, practicing regular hydration, and … these devices help you lead a smarter and healthier life.
My first experience with such a device was the Fitbit Charge 3. Probably one of the best fitness trackers out there. Fitbit has established itself as one of the most accurate brand names in the field, offering a variety of smartwatches and fitness trackers (bands) to find out what’s right for you.
Fitbit’s Charge series is a band-style fitness tracker that puts a simple device on your wrist and is popular with those who prefer more budget-friendly options instead of today’s expensive brand-name smartwatches.
Fitbit focuses on health and encourages you to be more active in your daily life. It was frustrating at first, but I found that the hourly reminder of walking 250 steps with my hips down was very convenient and very necessary. Many of us are becoming couch potatoes at home and prefer to sit in office chairs for hours, thinking this is the best way to become more skilled.
This is no doubt. Fitbit devices combined with your smartphone can be very helpful in being active and constantly hydrating, allowing you to better recognize your heart condition. In addition, the new version of the Fitbit device uses the red and infrared sensors on the back of the device to measure SpO2 levels during sleep. This is important because our knowledge of blood oxygen levels is important in today’s pandemic-filled world.
But to be honest, I was a little disappointed at first glance while I was excited to receive the Fitbit Charge 3. I agree that this is my negative personal feature, and at first glance I over-judgment things (and sometimes people). I’ve seen some videos of these watches and at first I thought the Fitbit Charge 3 was bigger than it really is.
When I unpacked Charge3, which was given to me by a kind friend, I realized that it was actually smaller than I had expected. I know this sounds cheap, but I’ve focused on the look of such devices and have always preferred larger watches. Sumi! But don’t get me wrong. If you’re looking for a fitness tracker, we highly recommend that you consider the Fitbit Charge series and other devices as a very good option.
After using the Fitbit Charge 3 for a year or so, I found myself becoming more careful about my health and changing my lazy and slightly careless lifestyle habits. All the while, I began to crave for new experiences and thought about the strengths and weaknesses of smartwatches compared to fitness trackers / bands.
Simply put, I wanted something more. Also, smartphone notifications can be a bit annoying in your daily work, so when you have your smartphone in your pocket or desk, use your smartwatch to filter the notifications and only the important alerts on your wrist. I thought about receiving it.
Of course, I also wanted an upgraded experience compared to what I already had on my fitness tracker. You can use different apps on your smartwatch, make calls without reaching for your phone, listen to music from your phone, improve fitness and sports tracking, improve sleep monitoring, and more. Not all of my wishes have come true, but I’ve found a great watch with the 46mm version of the Samsung Galaxy Watch.
You may be wondering why I didn’t choose the Apple Watch. To be honest, I was really anxious for the Apple Watch and wanted to see for myself what was being talked about about Apple devices. Obviously, the only thing that kept me away was the price tag.
The Apple Watch 5 was also available for about $ 150 more while I was considering the inevitable purchase of the Samsung Galaxy Watch. Even my close relatives offered to buy the Apple Watch 5 as a gift for me, but I couldn’t get anyone to pay the watch $ 500 as a gift. I don’t know, but that may be another negative feature of me.
Anyway, let’s get back to our main subject. With the Samsung Galaxy Watch, it felt like a completely different world than the Fitbit Charge 3. First and foremost, it was big, literally muscular, really pleasing, and gave me the feeling of being very capable “equipped”. device.
The various default apps available on Samsung Galaxy Watch and apps compatible with Google Play provide a long list of different tools to help you manage your daily life and essentials. When synced with your smartphone, the clock literally comes alive. I’m one of those who don’t often refer to my phone and like the fact that many of the notifications are displayed on the Galaxy Watch and can be replied with simple strokes.
One of the best features of the Samsung Galaxy Watch is that it’s more relaxed than the Fitbit model, but it reminds you to be active every hour. Whereas the Fitbit Charge 3 required 250 steps, the Galaxy Watch offers three different activity options: arms, shoulders, back, and legs. With this Galaxy Watch feature, I’ve noticed that despite my Brauhaha, I’m actually much more lazy than most people. smile!
Exercise with the Galaxy Watch is really refreshing. Many of the activities already programmed into your watch come with short animations that vividly explain your exercise, making your exercise routine simpler and smoother. The watch’s smart features automatically recognize your activity and easily count the people in charge of each set.
Sleep monitoring is also a big plus when it comes to smartwatches and fitness trackers. As we learn about the importance of getting 7-8 hours of sleep per night, our thirst for knowledge about sleep and how to sleep at night continues to grow. Both smartwatches and fitness trackers monitor your sleep, but for those who want to be free from their smartphones, smartwatches provide data on how you slept on the screen last night. However, the fitness tracker must be synced with your portable device and your data can only be viewed on your mobile phone or tablet.
This brings me to the third watch I’ve been lucky to own in the last four years. How I found it is pretty much a story. The very kind woman I consider to be my aunt was so noisy that I saw me looking up the latest Apple Watch and complaining about the high prices and tweeting to myself.
She had already tried to buy for me many years ago, but in response I heard the company no, so she bought her own Garmin Vene Square. When she surprised me, it was like her love at first sight.
As Garmin is best known, the watch is very smooth, light on the wrist and very accurate. And it’s offered at a relatively reasonable price of about $ 150, soothing my concerns about the issues my kind “aunt” might endure to make me happy.
Venu Sq evaluates what you eat and what you don’t eat to improve your sleep habits, pay attention to hydration on a regular basis throughout the day, and reduce calories while maintaining high blood oxygen levels. We employ a much more diverse exercise routine, weekly and monthly, to help you burn calories and stay healthy.
Garmin Venu Sq proves to me that switching to a new smartwatch or fitness tracker has advantages and is actually an investment in health for a better lifestyle.
Simply put, do you need to change your smartwatch or fitness tracker from time to time? In my honest opinion, that’s right. No, I haven’t received any compensation from several different companies to say this.
Some might argue that you don’t need to change your smartwatch or fitness tracker every year, but that’s understandable. Nevertheless, I have found that the accuracy is improved and that the use of such devices 24 hours a day, 7 days a week has a significant impact on how to adopt a healthier and more responsible lifestyle.
I recommend changing your smartwatch or fitness tracker from time to time, but as I said before, two of my friends had the same Apple Watch for two and four years. This is also a very good lifestyle. For example, be humble and make the most of what you have.
Of course, it should also be kept in mind that accuracy, battery life, and update compatibility are three important factors that need to be determined when changing and updating a particular watch or tracker if you continue to use it for several years. I have.
That’s all. Hopefully this article will help you decide which one is best for you, especially given the many options available in today’s market and the many options you can choose from. So get out there, get your feet wet in this developing country and have fun getting the most out of it! Whatever lifestyle you choose in the end, always keep in mind the goal of living a healthier and more responsible life.
