Naenka Runner Diver Sport Headphones: Sounds good

I’ve reviewed different types of headphones, but these are my first waterproof headphones designed for swimmers. Naenka Runner Diver Headphones are IPX8 waterproof compliant and can be submerged up to 5 meters. I love swimming and was excited about the prospect of being able to listen to music while swimming in the pool. These headphones weren’t disappointing. They make amazing sounds in the water, even better than they do in the water.
They use 16mm vibrating speakers and bone conduction technology. Bone conduction headphones have earpieces in front of the cheekbone ears. Sound waves are transmitted through the bones of the user’s skull, not through the ear canal. Ideal for outdoor activities such as running. While listening to music, pay attention to the surrounding situation, minimize sound leakage in the water, and produce wonderful sound.
The treble and midline are clearly visible in the water, but the bass is a bit soft to my liking. Underwater, they have a rich, amplified and balanced sound. I was very impressed with the sound quality underwater. I enjoyed listening to the songs while swimming and splashing around the pool.

These headphones provide Bluetooth connectivity and 16GB of internal storage and can accommodate between 3,000 and 4,000 songs. They are compatible with MP3 and FLAC audio files, but not with M4A. This is a bit disappointing because many of the songs in my iTunes library are in that format.
You can switch between Bluetooth mode and MP3 mode by double-clicking the multifunction power button on the left side of the headpiece. The volume button also serves a multi-functional purpose. You can use them to answer, reject, hang up, play, pause, skip back and forth, and access voice assistants.
MP3s are the only mode that works underwater. The bluetooth connection went in and out for me when I tried to make it swim. Advanced Tip: Be sure to disconnect from your iPhone before diving into the water. Otherwise, there will be many interruptions in the connected and disconnected voice cues when swimming.
These headphones are fast charged and can be charged from 0% to 100% in an hour and a half. It can be played for up to 10 hours and comes with a magnetic charging cable that you can connect to your laptop to download your favorite audio.

These headphones are one size fit for everything, but I really hope they are adjustable. They are a touch that is too big for me and feel a little loose in my ears. Another problem is that they don’t get super loud from the water. This is by design because it aims to provide a way to listen to music while being aware of your surroundings. Their sound is amplified underwater, and it is of high quality.

I reviewed the MU6 ring last year and liked the air conduction design of its open year. Air conduction is different from bone conduction, but it shares a common goal of allowing the wearer to listen to the sound while being attentive to their surroundings. The ring is not waterproof and cannot be brought into the pool or stored inside. Like the Naenka Runner Diver headphones, it can play for up to 10 hours and is half the price.
