The player uses OpenBlocks Elevator Mod 1.16.5/1.15.2/1.12.2 to move vertically through teleportation in Minecraft. You have to place two lifts at the same x and z coordinates for them to work. In between two lifts, in most cases, there can be up to 4 solid blocks. The Elevator can operate when there are a total of 20 possible blocks between the lifts. However, you can change these values. Do it by visiting the OpenBlocks configuration file.
When a player sneaks onto an Elevator block, they change their location to the Elevator below it. If you want to move to the Elevator above, jump on a block. You can make your lifts more vivid by dyeing them. The dye will be what you need to use. Once you have stained the Elevator, you will have to pay more attention as the color will affect the lift’s performance. The lift will only operate if the top/bottom lift is the same color.
- Simple elevator port from OpenBlocks to 1.8+ (Forge)
- It is possible to have blocks between them, provided they are on the same X and Z.
- Go up by standing on the rock and jump. Go down by bending.
- If you do not want to let others know your lift location, right-click on any block to disguise them.
