So, without any further effort, here are the most promising headphones announced at CES 2022. Release dates and prices are provided as available, but are subject to change.

Jabra
Last year, Jabra released three new true wireless earphones with different levels of functionality: the Elite 3 ($ 80), the Elite 7 Active ($ 180), and the Elite 7 Pro ($ 200). Now with the addition of the fourth earphone set, the Elite 4 Active, the list price is $ 120 (£ 120, A $ 179). Introduced at CES2022, the Elite 4 Active is Jabra’s most affordable workout model, “for those who love an active lifestyle but don’t want the strength of their more ambitious sister in this range, the Jabra Elite 7 Active. Is a reliable alternative. ” .. Elite 4 Active earphones are now available in three color options: blue, black and mint.

The new Shure Aonic 40 noise canceling headphones are a bit smaller and more affordable than the company’s reputed Aonic 50 headphones ($ 299) released in 2020. You can fine-tune the Shure Companion app for iOS and Android (choose between preset EQ settings and customizable manual EQ settings).
Active noise canceling is good, but it hasn’t reached the level of Sony or Bose. Also, like the Aonic 50, it’s good for calling (Shure is known for its microphone). You can also connect to your computer via USB-C. If you have an AptX-enabled Android device, your headphones support AptX HD Bluetooth streaming.
There are no additional features such as an ear detection sensor that automatically pauses music when you remove the headphones from your head and resumes playback when you put on the headphones. However, because the headphones have a dual hinge design, they can be folded or folded flat, so you can use a case that is more compact than the Aonic 50 (the case is quite large). In other words, these are more travel friendly. Battery life is estimated to be 25 hours with noise canceling turned on.
They are very good headphones and rugged, but not as comfortable as competing models from Bose and Sony. For some people, the top of the headband may put some pressure on the crown (headband padding is fine, but it may be better). I pushed the headband slightly in front of my head for a more comfortable fit.

The No. 5909 is Mark Levinson’s first headphones from the high-end audio brand and is certainly expensive. (Mark Levinson is now owned by Samsung’s subsidiary Harman.) Not surprisingly, these are really great headphones. I liked them very much, but I didn’t have to pay $ 999. Please read all the actual impressions of No.5909.
