These new wireless headphones are designed with heavy metal fans in mind

I know that niche marketing is “things” for now, but I never thought that the day would come when someone released headphones specifically designed for listening to heavy metal music. This is the big idea behind HEAVYS, a new headphone designed in collaboration with former Sennheiser. Tonmeister Alex Grell. Last week we reviewed Axel Grell’s new Grell TWS / 1 true wireless earphones. And now HEAVYS is launching these new headphones on Kickstarter.

HEAVYS has four dynamic drivers in each earcup, strategically placed and covering multiple frequency ranges, allowing you to mimic the sound of listening to heavy metal with a large pair of speakers. The tweeters on each earcup are placed perpendicular to the ears, creating a full-fledged rock stadium surround sound effect. Ideal for those who like loud music, live in an apartment, and play music at a deafening volume through speakers, which can confuse neighbors.

HEAVYS’s wireless capabilities use a choice of codecs such as AAC, aptX Adapative and LHDC. Lossless codecs can provide the most accurate representation of the recording process possible. If wired listening is more important, HEAVY S comes with a USB-C-USB-C cable for digital tethering. In addition, there is a short 3.5mm auxiliary cable for use on smartphones or suitable hi-fi.

HEAVYS also features what is called Shredtech technology, which maintains the integrity and complexity of heavy metal music characters. These features include a low distortion driver Split With a frequency range that spans four drivers, it provides an excellent headphone listening experience that squeezes the details of your music to the end.

Heavy metal music is intended to be heard at a loud volume … very loud. HEAVYS headphones use loudness enhancement technology based on a psychoacoustics model. This cunning approach enhances the sound of music without producing high sound pressure levels that can be deafening and without sacrificing clean, natural sound.

Built-in SPL dosimeter technology protects the listener’s ears from fatigue and deafness, allowing heavy metal music to be heard louder and safer. I couldn’t test that bold claim, but it sounds like a great feature.

These headphones have ANC (Active Noise Canceling), comfortable memory foam earcups, wired and wireless listening options, long battery life of up to 50 hours, and for making calls while listening to Black Sabbath or Cradleof tracks. Dirty containing two built-in microphones.
